It will do everything the #1-9 version does by flipping up the numbers 10,11,12 and playing it just like a #1-9 box. Bur significantly, you can use multiplication on this #1-12 version! For example, if you roll and 4 and a 5, you can call it either 4 + 5 = 9 (addition) or 4 x 5 = 20 (multiplication). Its best to multiply if you want to do well in the game as you get bigger numbers and can flip more tiles. Now the child must find numbers to add or multiply to 20 if they chose multiplication. More of a challenge…. This particular model from our shop is very nice. All hardwood construction, it focuses on quality with a premium feature of the numbers being burned into the wood, thus are easily cleaned and will easily last the life of the game.
