Cardboard cutout of the Transitting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) Space Telescope. It was launched in 2018 by the Falcon 9 Block 4 for the NASA Explorers program. It uses the transit method to search for exoplanets, or rather planets out of our Solar System. The transit method uses an area 400 times bigger than the Kepler mission covered. It’s primarily focused on examining the brightest stars near us to find the exoplanets orbitting them. Dimensions are 46x38in
