Nobody Else Like Me is a musical celebration of the diversity of children. The album celebrates different cultures, different languages and different physical abilities while at the same time emphasizing how special each individual child is. You'll hear everything from acoustic folk guitar to a full soca band, rock `n' roll to rap, hammered dulcimer to African percussion. A top-notch children's chorus joins Cathy & Marcy on eight songs, and two songs feature children as lead singers, "Walkin' On My Wheels" and the rap song, "A Kid Like Me." This recording is an inspiration to children, parents and teachers in sharing our world. Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer have won numerous awards for their children's and family music from The Parents' Choice Foundation, The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, The American Library Association, Early Childhood News and The Washington Area Music Association.
