Clary sage possesses a fruity, amber and musky odour. The clary sage essential oil is estrogen-like and exerts the same action as natural estrogens. It relieves disorders of premenstrual syndrome, regulates irregular cycles, fights pre-menopausal and menopausal disorders (hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings). It is a good regulator of sebum for skin and hair; it also helps to regulate excessive sweating. It can be used in essential oil diffusers, massage oils or bath water whenever you need to feel relaxed and reduce stress and tension. If you prefer, you may add to steaming water and inhale. Do not apply undiluted oil directly onto skin, always dilute in a carrier oil.Essential oils have more than 10,000 known aromatic components, which explains why their therapeutic arsenal is so extremely varied and extensively developed.
