Tekton 3/8 inch small body ratchets use the same body as our 1/4 inch ratchets so that you get the access and agility of a smaller handle and ratchet head in 3/8 inch drive. The flex head sweeps through 180 degrees, snapping to nine different detent angles to reach around obstacles. A spring-actuated pawl engages with well-defined teeth to hold the head in position. To be clear and consistent about the size of our ratchets, we use the actual working length (center of drive tang to end of handle), not the overall length of the tool. Because of this, you may find that a Tekton 6 inch ratchet is slightly longer than other 6 inch ratchets on the market.
