The incubator has mechanical convection airflow that provides temperature uniformity and stability to ensure a consistent temperature throughout the chamber. A fan provides a fast recovery time after the door is opened. Mechanical convection incubators can also be used for drying applications at high temperature settings. This benchtop incubator has a 10.2 x 16.3" footprint (W x D, where W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). A built-in stacking feature that allows multiple units to be stacked without additional parts. The stainless steel interior has rounded corners and removable shelves to ease cleaning. The glass door allows users to view contents without opening the door, and an interior light facilitates sample viewing. The unit includes two shelves, and has three built-in shelf locations for custom configurations.
