Four recipes and three variations are included with the unit. The cookies display a floral design on each side imprinted by the nonstick cooking grids. Powered by a 1,000-watt heating element and solidly constructed of cast aluminum for even heat distribution and retention, the pizzelle maker has a polished lid and stay-cool handle. A ready light signals when the grids are hot enough for baking. A clip locks the handle during baking; it also allows the user to store the appliance on end. A cord wrap prevents clutter. The pizzelle maker measures 11 inches wide, 3-1/2 inches high, and 10-1/2 inches deep and carries a three-year warranty against defects. –Fred Brack
