All pocket watches are engraved with the top and bottom filigree border. If you do not want the border added please let us know in your notes. Example how to write it out: Jamie, Groom, 4/15/2023. Or you can use any of the pictures as reference when placing your order. These pocket watches look great with 1, 2 or 3 lines on the front only. You can have just a name, or just a date, your initials and a date under it. The engraving will always be centered. If you want to add a short quote or message keep in mind it can only fit a few words per line. Too much will look crammed.
