From the Manufacturer 3M™ Glass Cloth Tape 361 is coated with a silicone adhesive for many applications requiring high-temperature resistance, high adhesion, and a very strong, abrasion-resistant backing that removes cleanly. Tape can withstand intermittent temperatures up to 550⁰F or higher, depending on the type and duration of the heat source. Continuous exposure above 450⁰F should be avoided, as it will gradually degrade the adhesive causing loss of adhesion and darkening of the cloth backing.3M™ Glass Cloth Tape 361 features a glass cloth backing with pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. It is 7.5 mils thick with adhesion of 38 oz./in., tensile strength of 182 lbs./in. and elongation at break of 10%.
