The helmet comes ready to use with a lens offering three sensitivity settings: 1) Normal for most types of welding both indoors and outdoors, 2) A setting for when other welders are working nearby, and 3) A setting for low-current or stable arc welding. Auto Darkening Filter Reacts Quickly After Striking an Arc The Speedglas 100V lens also features five user-selectable dark shades, from shade 8 through shade 12, and a light shade of 3.
