Wide Application: This submersible water pump is designed for indoor and outdoor fountains, aquarium fish tank, water table, small pond waterfall, bird bath, and hydroponic systems Adjustable Flow Rate: With a flow control valve, the fountain pump can be adjusted up to 160 GPH (600L/H) to fit your need; H-Max (Lift height): 3.6ft at minimum flow rate. Note: 160GPH is the theoretical flow rate at zero lift; the actual output decreases with pipe resistance, lifting height. And the higher the lifting height is, the lower the flow rate will be. For example, the flow rate is 160 GPH at 0 ft (without any water pipe), 90 GPH at 2 ft, and nearly 0 GPH at 3.6 ft. And the pump operates on the principle that higher lift results in lower flow rate. Compact Size: 2.50" x 1.75" x 2" (L x W x H); length of power cord: 6 ft; optional 2 outlets: Fits 5/16"or 1/2"ID (inside diameter) tubing; 4 pcs of strong suction cups keep it stays in place Why is my pump not working properly? To ensure the water pump operates properly, the following steps must be taken: Submersion Requirement : The pump must be fully submerged in water. Debris Clearance: If the impeller is jammed by debris (e.g., fish waste, algae, gravel), causing the pump to stop working, disassemble the housing to remove obstructions and check pipe connections for kinks or blockages to resume normal operation. Air Removal : For the first startup or after water replacement, gently shake the pump to expel any trapped air inside; air trapped in the pipe or the pump may cause "gurgling" noises and the pump failure due to airlock.
