I created this beautiful, classy Cameo Brooch using a vintage 40mm x 30mm decal featuring a Winter Lady Cameo cabochon, a reproduction of a painting by Alphonse Mucha*. I surrounded it by a beadwoven frame made with size 11 and size 15 gold, iridescent blue and pink seed beads from Japanese Miyuki, sewn one bead at a time, in a design that would enhance its natural beauty. Finished with a Gothic Filigree Antique silver frame. I am always choosing the best materials in my work. The Brooch has a strong, Silver plated good quality pin back. My initials IM are stamped into the silver palette that is applied to the back of the brooch. This beautiful handmade brooch makes a wonderful gift for yourself or someone you love.
