The Carlisle 1046003 TopNotch third-size food pan is made of black plastic, measures 12.75 x 7.00 x 2.50 inches, withstands temperatures up to 375 degrees F, has notches for lifting, and is suitable for preparing, holding, and serving foods. Food pans, also known as hotel pans, may be placed in a chafing dish, food well, or steam table for food service. Two notches, one at each end of the pan, allow the pan to be lifted using a spoon or another utensil. The tapered shape allows two or more pans to be nested for storage.
