Heavy-duty internal springs and a reinforced zinc alloy lever body provide smooth, consistent operation and long-lasting durability under frequent daily use. PRIVACY LOCKING FUNCTION: Interior push-button locks the exterior lever for privacy. Exterior lever includes an emergency release for safety, while the inside lever always remains free for immediate, unobstructed egress—ideal for commercial and residential interior applications. ADA COMPLIANT & NON-HANDED DESIGN: Fully ADA compliant for barrier-free accessibility. Non-handed lever fits both left- and right-swing doors, simplifying installation and making it a versatile choice for new construction or retrofit projects. FITS STANDARD COMMERCIAL DOORS: Designed for standard 161 door prep with a 2-1/8″ bore. Fits doors 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ thick and includes a UL 3-hour fire-rated 2-3/4″ backset latch (optional 2-3/8″ backset sold separately). COMPLETE INSTALLATION KIT INCLUDED: Box includes privacy lever, thru bolts, strike plate, latch, dust box, screw packs, mounting template, and instructions. Optional through-bolt installation helps prevent lever sag, while the satin chrome finish delivers a clean, professional appearance.
