Product Description What could be more fun than hanging out with an unstoppable dog and a taking-it-easy cat, and learning a new language along the way? In Unleashed/Sin Correa, El Perro y El Gato make some beautiful music, do a little yoga, walk us through all four seasons, and welcome a new baby to the family. Plus, lots more. But whatever they are up to, it’s always fun. Review El Perro is a high-energy, fast-talking dog and his best buddy is El Gato, a low-key fat purple cat. Although the two pals communicate through a constant mix of English and Spanish, they have no trouble understanding each other - and little viewers won't have any trouble understanding them either, thanks to the program's innovative approach to bilingual education. The bright, uncluttered animation helps to picture-point the storyline, and El Perro frequently pauses for vocabulary reinforcement, aided by on-screen text. This DVD includes eight separate vignettes, exploring themes familiar to young viewers, such as welcoming a new baby to the family; trying out different musical instruments; eating in a restaurant; and admiring the change of seasons.
