Product Description Jim Hubbard is an accomplished Hawaii-based musician, singer and songwriter. He regularly performs in Honolulu area clubs and appears frequently on local television and radio programs. Jim's latest release, Noisy Dreams, a collection made up entirely of original songs, is an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric folk, rock, blues and reggae. Jim joined forces on the Noisy Dreams CD with freinds from the local Honolulu music scene to form the Jim hubbard Band. A classically trained musician with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Hawaii, Jim uses his musical talent to it's fullest, giving birth to a fresh folk rock and blues sound. He released 'Home Is Where The Heart Is' in 1995. In 1999, Jim was awarded the Hawaii Music Award for Most Popular Folk Music Artist for his CD 'The Window of Innocence.' Released in January 2001, after about a year in the making, 'Noisy Dreams' is Jim's third release. The Jim Hubbard Band is comprised of Jim Hubbard (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Laura Covell (violins), Bud Cerio (guitar), Stephanie Dillard (vocals), Eric Folk (drums), Dale Horton (Bass), Jeff Kloetzel (percussion) Andrew McClellan (bass), Patrick Sweeny (keyboards), Stevie Utstein (keyboards). About the Artist Jim Hubbard is a singer-songwriter originally from New York City. He now resides in Honolulu, Hawaii and plays the local scene there. The Brooklyn born musician received his Bachelors of Music from the University of Hawaii in 1992 for performance in classical guitar. Since 1995 he's been writing original tunes and releasing indie records. In 1999 he won the Hawaii Music Award for best folk artist for his release of "The Window Of Innocence." The third and current release, "Noisy Dreams" is yet another all original set of 10 new songs, and marks his debut as producer of the record as well. The rootsy performer has been described as "a little bit rock, a little bit country-blues, and 100% original..." by John Berger of the Honolulu Star Bulletin.
