poolLUX Plus2 is S. R. Smith’s, dual-zone pool safety transformer plus wireless remote. Great for pool/spa combinations where you want control over two lighting zones. The poolLUX Plus2 is also a great upgrade for Fiberstar’s and other fiber optic illuminators, where homeowners want to relocate the existing illuminator from yard to a discrete location, but still want to control two zones of lights. The poolLUX Plus2 houses two 60-Watt low voltage transformers that can be controlled independently or in sync with each other. When used with color changing LED pool lights, simply cycle each zone ON/OFF to achieve the color you want; or press the one-touch sync button to synchronize both zones to one color. The poolLUX family of transformers is elegantly designed for pool owners that want safe, quiet control of up to two zones of pool, spa or fountain lights. Two built-in external ON/OFF switches eliminate the need for additional light switches, saving money and installation time. The Plus2's enhanced safety features include one fuse for over-heating conditions and a fast-acting replaceable fuse for short circuiting protection. Engineered with the installer in mind, the Plus2 delivers oversized wiring compartments and screw terminations for secure connections. 12 and 13VAC wiring terminations are marked and accessible in the low voltage compartment which may provide an additional level of safety for installers.
