His Story Of The Day That I Died release (RRD-1851) achieved much attention, including the coveted Male Vocalist of the Year prize for Sisk at the IBMA s annual award show in 2013. Other recent honors have included IBMA s Album of the Year award for The Heart Of A Song (RRD-1845) in 2012 as well as Song of the Year for the very popular A Far Cry from Lester and Earl . Sisk has gathered a similar success in radio play nation wide, as noted in Bluegrass Today s weekly and monthly charts.Junior s name is always mentioned among the very top Bluegrass vocalists, and he continues to bring top-flight songs into the genre.
