This SKF cylindrical roller bearing with a brass cage and removable outer ring is suitable for applications that support high radial loads. This roller bearing has a CN (normal) radial clearance for applications and operating conditions with normal shaft and housing tolerances where thermal expansion is not a factor. This is a double row roller bearing that supports higher radial loads than single row bearings. A removable outer ring in the open bearing allows application of lubrication. The brass cage prevents the rollers from coming into contact with each other during use, reducing friction, vibration, and noise.Cylindrical roller bearings are used in applications where high radial loads are present such as in conveyer belts, traction motors, railway car axle boxes, and oilfield mud pumps, among others.Roller or rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads.
