It is very easy to hang from the ceiling indoors near a bay window or any area of your preference. Bedrooms are also a popular spot. To hang from the ceiling, you will need to pick up a ceiling hook from a local store and have a small step ladder to climb so you can hang it. I've assembled hundreds this way successfully. Handmade by contemporary fiber artist and original designer, in her Atlanta, Georgia studio. There is a reasonable expectation for some small variation in size due to the nature of cotton which can expand and retract for a wide variety of reasons, such as weather, temperature, humidity, etc. All cuts are made by hand without aid from a machine. The overage or underage of several inches on width or length does not change the overall square footage, nor the appearance of the macrame hanging. Each wall hanging is photographed against measurements prior to shipment to prevent errors out of appreciation for, and on the behalf of our buyers. Our careful attention is given to every order we receive, and all items are made to order. Although mass-produced macrame works are cheaper, ultimately, you ultimately pay more for the costs to your health. Mass-produced macrame is made with poor-quality, toxic rope, and has earned a reputation for being riddled with mold, mildew, and strong sickly odors that cannot be eradicated.
