This is not a Christmas album, but a pure New Orleans-style jazz session recorded on Dec. 23, 1979 at the Bell Hotel in Derby, England. Trumpeter/vocalist Ken Colyer is joined by Chris Blount, Dave Vickers, Ray Smith, Dave Brennan, Harry Slater and Paul Rosenberg. Features the songs "Winter Wonderland, " "Aunt Hagar's Blues, " "Jambalaya, " "Nobody's Fault But Mine, " "Heebie Jeebies, " "Michigan Water, " "Bugle Boy March" and "Old Grey Mare."
