Product Description SAMe is a metabolite of methionine (an essential amino acid). The formula provides 400 mg from 800 mg of SAMetosylate disulfate. The biologically active form of SAMe is the S,S structure. This formula is made naturally by fermentation and processed without chemical solvents to preserve 68-80% S,S SAMe, the highest active level available. SAMe supports the production of healthy connective tissue. Plus, SAMe metabolism supports the synthesis of glutathione, which is critical for antioxidant defenses and liver functions.
